What is a phishing attack?
Phishing attack is a common cyber fraud method. The attacker impersonates a reliable entity (such as a bank, company, or a familiar person), and lurks the user into leaking sensitive information, such as password, card number, or other personal information. Common phishing attacks include:
1-E-mail: Disguised to be an official E-mail, asking the user to click on the link and enter personal information.
2-Fake Website: Creating a website similar to the actual site, asking users to enter sensitive data.
3-SMS and phone call: Asking users to provide personal information via SMS texts or phone calls.
4-Social Media: Using social media platforms to gain trust from the user, and guiding the user into leaking information.
Prevention Measures:
1-Set up RedotPay Anti-Phishing Code: Please do not trust any system email from RedotPay that does not contain the Anti-Phishing code.
2-Please do not use your RedotPay card on non-compliant platforms: Especially links from unrecognized sources.
3-Activate 2FA verification: Increase the security of your account.
4-Use safety software: Update your AntiVirus and firewall software in a timely manner.
5-Contact official customer support: If you receive suspicious messages, please contact RedotPay customer support via the official RedotPay APP to verify the information.
Stay alert, and protect your personal information.
