RedotPay has recently implemented new measures to enhance security and prevent card abuse. These changes are designed to protect our community while ensuring that users who utilize their cards responsibly will not be adversely affected.
Overview of New Measures
1. Small Transaction Fee
To discourage excessive minor transactions, we will introduce a fee for small transactions under $1. Starting from the sixth transaction of this nature within a calendar month, an additional charge of $0.20 will apply for each subsequent transaction. This initiative aims to promote more efficient spending habits among users.
2. Declined Transaction Fee
To reduce the number of declined transactions, a fee will be applied after multiple declined attempts. Beginning with the fourth declined transaction in a month, users will incur an additional charge of $0.50 for each further declined transaction. This policy encourages users to maintain sufficient funds in their accounts for smoother transaction processing.

3. Negative Balance Policy
To uphold account integrity, accounts that go into a negative balance will be temporarily frozen. Users will have 30 days to rectify the deficit by topping up their accounts. If no action is taken within this timeframe, or if there are three additional declined transactions after the account becomes negative—whichever comes first—the card will be canceled and card functions disabled immediately. Users will need to repay any owed fees and maintain a minimum balance of $10 to reactivate their card functions.
